Home Inspection Standards of Practice

Our home inspectors abide by The A.S.H.I. Code of Ethics to promote a high standard of professionalism, business ethics, and inspection procedures. The A.S.H.I. Standards of Practice serve as the foundation that guides our home inspectors to conduct high quality home inspections.

According to the Standards of Practice, “A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by these Standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector.”

Radon Testing and Mitigation Standards of Practice

The National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) provides a certification credential for professional radon gas testers who pass the national exam, and a certification credential for radon gas mitigators who pass a national exam. Our testers and mitigators passed both examinations and continue to keep their certifications current! The NRPP, which serves as an independent administrative program of The American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists, Inc. (AARST), is governed by a Certification Council responsible for credentialing policies and procedures. Our radon gas testers and mitigators abide by the following radon gas testing and mitigation standards that can be found on NRPP and AARST websites:
